I obtained an LL.B. (Hons.) degree from the University of Lagos Nigeria in 1981 and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1982. I attained the rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria in 2013. In 1998 I became a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators U.K. and a Chartered Arbitrator in 2017. I have been Chairman, member Arbitral Panel, Sole Arbitrator and Counsel in several domestic and international Arbitrations in the areas of Admiralty & Maritime Law, Insurance, Marine Insurance, Oil & Gas, Real Estate, Telecommunications, Intellectual Property and Construction. I am an Accredited Faculty Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators U.K., a member Panel of Neutrals of the Lagos Court of Arbitration and the Lagos Multidoor Court House.
