Overview

Chief Christopher Adebayo Ojo, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria is the founder and Senior Partner of Bayo Ojo & Co and the current President of the AfAA. He specialises in Commercial law, International Law, Litigation, Mediation, Arbitration and Alternative Dispute Resolution practice. He has sat as Arbitrator and acted as Counsel in numerous arbitrations. He has also acted as expert witness in international arbitrations including ICSID.  He is a former Attorney General and Minister of Justice of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, past President of the Nigerian Bar Association, past Chairman of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, Nigeria Branch. He was a member of the UN International Law Commission, a member of the ICSID Panel of Arbitrators, the Panel of the PCA, Alternate Chairman of UNESCO Appeals Board, the Board of Trustees of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators London, and President of the African Users’ Council of the LCIA.
