With more than forty years’ experience, he is ranked as one of Nigeria’s leading arbitration practitioners by Who’s Who Legal and Chambers Global. A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators since 1993, he was a founding member of its Nigerian Branch, serving as its first Secretary, third Vice-Chair and Branch Chair. He was the first President of the Lagos Court of Arbitration, serving between 2010 and 2014. He is a member of the ICC Commission on Corporate Responsibility and Anti-Corruption, and the Task Force on Issues of Corruption inn International Arbitration of its Commission on Arbitration & ADR. He is currently co-Executive Director of ICC FraudNet.
