Overview
I was born on the 28th of September 1974 to Edward and Victoria Elachi, indigenes of Okpoga Village in Okpokwu Local Government Area of Benue State, Nigeria. I had my early primary school education at Makurdi, Abuja, and finally Sagamu. I attended Mount Saint Gabriel’s Secondary School, Makurdi, and at a point considered taking up the Priesthood. I was admitted to the University of Jos, Plateau State in the 1991/92 academic sessions and graduated with an LL.B in 1997. On 28th September 1999, I was called to the Nigerian Bar. I am married to my darling wife Rosemary, and we have 4 wonderful children, two girls and two boys.
